Agile: Agile project management is an iterative development methodology that values human communication and feedback, adapting to change, and producing working results. Agile is iterative, meaning that it is done in pieces (sprints), with each sprint building and improving off the lessons from the previous sprint



Azure: Azure is Microsoft’s public Cloud platform. Azure is the most widely used Cloud solution in Danish company IT. It offers a large collection of services including platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and managed database service capabilities.

AWS: Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 175 fully featured services from data centers globally.

It provides a set of tools, guidance, and narratives that help shape technology, business, and people strategies for driving desired business outcomes during your cloud adoption effort.

CCoE: Business and technical agility are core objectives of most IT organizations. A cloud center of excellence (CCoE) is a function that creates a balance between speed and stability.

CLOUDEON: Our name consists of two parts: Cloud and eon [meaning an infinite period of time]. We have been working towards bettering the world of Cloud computing since 2016 and have not looked back since then.


Consumption: Cloud consumption refers to the usage of Cloud ressources. Cloud consumption is divided into three segments; Cloud Compute, Cloud Network, and Cloud Storage.





DevOps: DevOps is a set of practices that combines software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops). It aims to shorten the systems development life cycle and provide continuous delivery with high software quality. DevOps is complementary with Agile software development; several DevOps aspects came from Agile methodology.



Digital Innovation: Digital innovation is the use of digital technology and applications to improve existing business processes and workforce efficiency, enhance customer experience, and launch new products or business models.

DPOR: Digital Partner of Record (DPOR) is a feature to associate partners to a Microsoft cloud subscription. It is an online capability to attach a partner to a customer’s Microsoft online subscription.





Hybrid Cloud:The Hybrid Cloud provides a rich and powerful platform for developers to build modern applications, and while most applications are moving there quickly, some applications however face obstacles; latency, intermittent connectivity, and regulation being the primary examples.

IaaS: Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) is a term used for cloud-based services, pay-as-you-go or services such as storage, networking, and virtualization.  Users can run any operating system or applications on the rented servers without the maintenance and operating costs of those servers.





OCI: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an IaaS that delivers on-premises, high-performance computing power to run cloud native and enterprise company’s IT workloads. OCI provides real-time elasticity for enterprise applications by combining Oracle's autonomous services, integrated security, and serverless compute. Available for public cloud.

On-premise: On-premises is a term for the technology that is located within the physical confines of an enterprise, often in the company’s data center - as opposed to running remotely on hosted servers or in the Cloud.



OpsAI: OpsAI is a tool developed by CLOUDEON. It is an automation platform that gives you deep insight into your IT estate, allowing IT and Business to have a common view of your systems and processes.

Operations: Cloud technology operations are described as the delivery of superior cloud services. Nowadays cloud computing operations have become famous & widely used by many or IT enterprise & business organizations because it allows performing all tasks over the internet.

PaaS: Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) is a term used for applications, and other development, that provides Cloud components to software. This means that you can develop solutions and applications in an established online environment, ready to use, develop and implement in your Cloud setup. 





Rightsizing: The term rightsizing refers to adapting your company to market conditions to streamline your business efforts. In relations to IT, rightsizing means going through current investments in an effort to cost-cut or rearrange to increase efficiency while lowering costs.

RTO: The Recovery Time Objective - is the targeted duration of time and a service level within which a business process must be restored after a disaster (or disruption) in order to avoid unacceptable consequences associated with a break





Technical Debt: Technical debt a term used to describe the accumulated cost of resources that are no longer compliant or up to date with current IT standards. This is an on-premise phenomenon that carries significant impact on you IT spendings and the overall cost of your organization's IT.
